Measurement of diameter and length
Chamfer Gauges
Indicating measuring instruments for diameter measurement of conical bores, external cones or 45° chamfers
Internal Taper Gauges IKT: measure the largest diameter of a conical bore or a conical groove
- IKT60 for cone < 60° = Measuring range 0.5 to 121 mm, several instruments needed
- IKT90 for cone > 60° and < 90°= Measuring range 0.5 to 120 mm, several instruments needed
- IKT127 for cone > 90° and =< 127° = Measuring range 0.5 to 121 mm, several instruments needed
- Calibration at factory or with setting master.
DIATEST solutions for the aviation industry:
DIATEST offers perfect solutions for the aviation industry.
These solutions are extremely precise and reliable, use industrial radio technology (DIAWIRELESS) and are in use worldwide. Depending on the measuring instrument, measurements can be taken on both flat and curved surfaces.
Some examples:
DIATEST IKT105 – Measuring the countersink diameter in rivet holes! Perfect for use in the aerospace industry, with a 100° angle!
IKT105 for cones > 90° and up to < 105°; measuring range 0.5 – 20 mm; zeroing is carried out at the factory or using a settings master.
Other measurement solutions:
- Countersink depth of a rivet hole
- Flushness of a rivet head
- Burr overlap of the rivet hole
- Depth of a rivet hole (material thickness)
- Diameter of a rivet hole
- Etc.
External Taper Gauges AKT: measure the smallest diameter of an external cone.
- AKT60 for cone < 60° = Measuring range 5 to 121 mm, several instruments needed
- AKT90 for cone > 60° and < 90° = Measuring range 5 to 120 mm, several instruments needed
- AKT127 for cone > 90° and <127° = Measuring range 5 to 120 mm, several instruments needed
- Calibration at factory or with setting master.
Chamfer Gauges KT resp. KT-B: measure directly a 45° chamfer on rectangular and cylindrical work pieces, even bores and slots.
- KT: for straight chamfers and external diameters and slots over 16 mm
- KT-B: For bores from Ø28 mm
- Calibration at factory (setting master included for standard KT/KT-B)
IKT, AKT, KT and KT-B in standard version with shock protected indicator with a scale graduation of 0,01mm.
All gauges can also be equipped with a digital indicator MDU as an option (scale graduation 0.01mm/.0005“). Not only the standard angles but also any other angle is possible. All measured values can be recorded and transferred wireless (DIAWIRELESS) or via cable.
Economical alternative: Some of the IKT can be manufactured without stop bars (IKT-OS). Special designs on request
Dial Indicators for DIATEST IKT, AKT and KT/-B
Depending on your requirements, you can choose between digital and analogue dial indicators.
Digital dial indicators
DIATEST digital dial indicators are easy to use, can be switched between metric and imperial units, and provide quick and clear readings. With these two freely programmable dial indicators, you can display different angles by entering a factor. This offers maximum flexibility, for example when measuring different countersink diameters for screws or thread protection countersinks.
DIATEST offers two different digital dial indicators:
A high-precision digital dial indicator with a resolution of up to 0.001 mm, particularly suitable for tight tolerances. By entering a conversion factor, this dial indicator offers exceptional flexibility in use. Measurement data can be transmitted via real-time wireless communication (DIAWIRELESS) or by cable.
DIGITAL at ANALOGUE prices! A practical and economical digital dial indicator that is priced similarly to special analogue dial indicators. You receive a modern, digital dial indicator with a resolution of 0.01 mm. By entering a factor, this dial indicator is extremely flexible in use. The MDU-EC125 has no data output. A test report is available as an option.
Analogue dial indicator:
IKT, AKT, KT and KT-B come as standard with shock-resistant special mechanical dial indicators featuring a scale graduation of 0.01 mm and a certificate.
